Project Overview

  • The Cape Lambert Port B Project comprises the construction of a new port facility adjacent to the existing Cape Lambert Port facility.
  • The Site is located at the Cape Lambert facility, approximately 40km north east of Karratha, Western Australia.

Project Scope of Works (283MTPA)

Construction consists of:
  • New 50MTPA train unloading infrastructure, new stockyard, new shiploading facilities (including a new wharf) and associated dredging
  • Car Dumper CD5C Vault structure
  • Empty car line and positioner bridges
  • Footings for substations
  • Baghouse footings
  • Screen house foundations
  • Installation of CV450 tunnel and cathodic protection system
  • Construction of CD5C rail underpass
  • Construction of sumps, pits and miscellaneous footings
