Indigenous Team of the Century

DTMT is proud to announce our involvement with the South Fremantle Football club as this year’s major sponsor of the Indigenous Team of the Century.

The DTMT Indigenous Team of the Century consists of 22 of the finest Indigenous players the country has seen, all of which were at some stage in their career a product of the South Fremantle Football Club metropolitan or country zone.

This occasion was celebrated to coincide with the 2009 NAIDOC Week. A Tribute Dinner will be held on Friday July 3^rd 2009, where the Indigenous Team of the Century was announced in preparation for the South Fremantle vs. Claremont Game on Saturday July 4^th 2009 at the Fremantle Oval.

The DTMT Construction South Fremantle Football Club Indigenous Team of the Century was selected by Mal Brown, Ray Wilson and Brian Ciccotosto. The playing team included four of our home grown players Stephen Michael, Maurice Rioli, Nicky Winmar and Peter Matera of whom were all selected to play in the AFL Indigenous Team of the Century, as well as an additional array of the strongest talent in Australian football history.

The DTMT Construction South Fremantle Football Club Indigenous Team of the Century, in collaboration with the NAIDOC Week Challenge Game, is a prominent Western Australian event and one that DTMT is very proud to be associated with.

DTMT is pleased to support the fostering of a positive relationship within the Western Australian Indigenous Community.
